Years
ago in Cincinnati, when the streets
were mostly dirt and cobblestones,
pigs would crowd the streets squealing
their way to the Slaughterhouses
like a poorly towed brake. Some
of those hoofed creatures would
try to escape from the death march.
Lone
pigs, squealing as they ran down
dirty streets away from the slaughterhouse,
were almost as common as prostitutes
and drug dealers in OTR on a Friday
night.
In
an effort to honor those pigs that
found freedom and those that fed
the midwest, Flying Pig Courier
Service is hosting the first annual
UDR Alley Cat Race.
